Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Performs various tasks to safely maintain offshore platforms, meter stations, facilities and associated equipment; maintain operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements
- Handles data analysis and collaboration with others to resolve technical or operational problems
- Follows all Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
- Acquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of platforms, facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets
- Maintains general knowledge of site/location/equipment specific permits and compliance
- Completes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment
- Coordinates the work efforts of contract maintenance crews
- Maintains and troubleshoots all related platform subsystems
- Maintains compliance and inspection documentation
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of progressive experience working in the oil and gas industry, pipeline or offshore operations
- Preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree
Must be willing to:
- Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
- Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
- Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
- Use hand tools
- Generally, a (4) day a week work schedule but may change to a 7&7 or short stretches of 14&14 or more continued working days based on need/project schedule
- Available to spend multiple nights offshore on platforms and boats during offshore projects
- Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record
- Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and deems safety an utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and proficient knowledge of maintenance management programs
- Possesses or is able to secure a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
- Willing to travel by boat or helicopter to Offshore Platforms, and acquire a HUET "Helicopter Underwater Egress Training" and US Coast Guard Approved Water Survival course completion certificate
